About Bajamar
Located on the North Tenerife, Bajamar is one of the oldest resorts on the island. Historically a fishing village, Bajamar has no link with its past and consists of a long promendae filled with bars and restaurants.
The stretch of coast at Bajamar is quite rocky and is subject to rough seas; most bathers use the safer hotel pools and rarely venture into the sea.
Bajamar literally means "down by the sea".
