Villas & apartments in Santa Cruz

The capital city of Tenerife and also one of the largest ports in Spain, Santa Cruz is the place where Admiral Horatio Nelson's famous missing arm was lost in a naval battle in the late 1700's.
In 1852 Santa Cruz became a free port and was permitted to sell goods duty free. The city offers more than duty free shopping to its visitors - however this is the primary reason that coach trips are run to Santa Cruz - there are several museums in the city and some old buildings in the centre. It is a lovely place to visit. So what are you waiting for? Find the cheapest airline tickets you can and come visit. Holidaying here is truly fun and relaxing.
In the Iglesia de Nuestra Senora de la Concepcion which was built in 1502 visitors will find the cross (Cruz) which Alonso Fernandez de Lugo first planted into the beach when he landed in 1493 and also a British flag which was actually captured from Admiral Nelson in 1797.
Now Santa Cruz is often host to cruise ships and hosts many concerts at Auditorio, its newest landmark concert hall which is distinctively shaped like a wave.
