Siam Park - Tenerife’s Newest Waterpark

Siam Park is Tenerife’s long awaited new attraction is now open. With a host of unique water rides Siam Park is sure to be a big hit with the Islands many visitors both young and old. But what is all the fuss about?

Located just outside of the popular Tenerife resort of Playa De las Americas, Siam Park is a fantastic new attraction which is sure to be a big hit with locals and visitors alike, thanks to the huge array of varying rides and attractions waiting to be explored. One of the first things many visitors will notice will be the fabulous wave pool complete with its world record breaking waves, which can reach an amazing height of up to 3 metres.

The Lost City is an area dedicated to the younger visitor complete with towers adjoined by bridges, waterfalls, rides and much more. A great place where children can explore their very own water park.

The Dragon has the hallmarks of becoming one of the most popular rides at Siam Park. Up to 4 riders set out aboard their very own raft, as they hurtle down an enclosed tube towards an almighty drop at the bottom of which riders have gathered enough momentum to propel up the side of the large cone shape finale. Suitable for adults, and children.

The Giant offers visitors the choice of riding together as a pair or individually. Your journey begins in the ‘Temple Guardian’ and huge structure visible throughout Siam Park. After choosing one of the two tubes, you set off into an enclosed tube which leads you into a large bowl type structure. There you will travel anti clockwise around and around until having lost your initial speed you enter yet another tube from where you eventually emerge straight into a pool.

Jungle Snake. As the name suggests, this ride is far from straight forward, in fact it is the very opposite. Riders have to option to travel in one of four very different tubes, each of which provides a individual ride experience, and thanks to the way in which each of the tubes entwine throughout the landscape, riders are kept guessing up until the very end. With some partially open tubes and others ensuring a faster ride, there is only one sure way of finding your preferred tube…..and that is to ride them all.

Naga Racer offers visitors a great chance to race against one another on this undulating ride complete with six lanes. So take your positions and your foam mat and prepare to race.

Mekong River. Described as an Indiana Jones type water ride, Mekong River at Siam Park takes up to four riders at a time down a winding waterway which provides some stunning views over the park and beyond. A great white water ride for all the family.

Mai Tai River is Siam Parks very own lazy river. At over 1 kilometre long, this family favourite ride allows visitors to relax whilst catching some of those all important rays of sun. Beware though this lazy river comes with waterfalls, caves and much more as it meanders through the park.

Siam Beach covers an area of 9,500 square metres and comes complete with sun loungers. With Siam parks wonderful turquoise wave pool providing the background, Siam beach is a great place to kick back.

Tower Of Power. Every water park has one and here is Siam parks. Tower Of Power is a fast and furious ride which allows riders to reach speeds of up to 40 kmph before propelling them from the open chute into a clear enclosed tube surrounded by water. The Volcano offers a twist to a popular water ride. Entering a large enclosed bowl after a short ride through a tube, riders enter an environment like no other, thanks to a laser show and some other spectacular surprises.

With a total of 5 individual restaraunts, you can be sure to find something to suit everyones taste. Siam Park’s Thai style shopping area, provides visitors with a true taste of the Far East, complete with a variety of shops selling everything from practical sunscreen to something a litle different which will always remind you of your vist to Siam Park, Tenerife.
