Blue Marlin Fishing In Tenerife.

From May to October each year, the unmistakable yet ellusive Blue Marlin migrates to the subtropical waters around Tenerife and the remainder of the Canary Islands. This seasonal hotbed of game fishing is further enhanced by the reported average size of the Blue Marlins caught in these fantastically clear waters which averages between 400 to 600+ lb and upwards of 800 lb. To accommodate those visitors to Tenerife who seek the thrill of the chase, there are an abundance of Sport fishing boats throughout the island, many of which can be chartered by individuals or groups.

For those of you who have yet to experience this exhilirating challenge be prepared! It takes time, patience and boat loads of stamina. Oh and don’t forget to strap yourself in!
